We started off the month with the birth of Noah Douglas! We were all so excited to welcome a little boy into the mix. I was able to be at the hospital for the day and spend a little time with him and his parents.
A few weeks after he was born, Justin and the girls got to meet him. Both Addy & Hailey were smitten with him. I was shocked by how sweet Hailey was with him.
Shortly after our visit with the baby, we found out Addy had strep yet again. She had zero symptoms so it was super random and we only really found out because we had an ENT appointment to discuss the possibility of getting her tonsils out. While we were there they said he tonsils were a little red, but the rapid strep test came back negative. 3 days later they called and said the culture came back positive. At the ENT appointment, they also let us know that Hailey's tubes were officially out of her ear drums. They will slowly fall out over time, but they did a good job for over a year of keeping her ear infection free.
A week later, Hailey was feeling off and woke up in the middle of the night with a fever. I took her to the doctor's on Saturday morning and found out the poor thing had the flu. She was super clingy and lethargic for a couple days and stayed home from daycare Monday through Wednesday. When she went back to daycare on Thursday they said she played, but also took some breaks and just laid on the floor.
Last, was Justin's 38th birthday. We had a brunch at my parents house then hung out with the neighbors the rest of the day. We are getting old!
