Amanda's Birthday Weekend - November 2015

The month started out slow, but built up some speed.  The whole family was able to travel to Charleston to spend the weekend with Amanda for her 30th birthday.  There was a big oyster bake on Friday night at one of Amanda's friends houses which was really fun.  On Saturday, we headed out to Daniel's Island for a little fair.  We hit up some food trucks, went to the petting zoo, went on a shrimp boat, Addy got her face painted and went down some inflatable slides.  After the fair, Addy went back to the hotel and took a nap with Guppy.  We had dinner reservations a little later in the evening, so she needed some rest.  We were lucky to have everyone with us!

November Pictures

The day started off "interesting", with Justin having gone out the night before, but I just adore how these pictures came out of Addison.  I can't believe she is 4 years old and these pictures make her seem even older to me.  Where did my baby go?!

Halloween

We had a long week leading up to Halloween!  The Saturday before Halloween, we went to the pumpkin farm with friends.  Nonna was still in town and was able to come with us.  Addy's favorite part was the corn box.  Lots of corn kernels dumped into one HUGE sandbox.  It was a fun little trip and we ended the evening with food & drinks at Lynnwood.

The next day, we decided to carve pumpkins once Uncle Gannon woke up.  Addy enjoyed pulling out the "guts" of the pumpkin and was very excited to see what they looked like once it was dark.

On Halloween day, we went to Brier Creek for their little Halloween festival.  They had the usual hay ride, some games and face painting.

FINALLY, Halloween night...we went over to Bright Leaf so we could trick-or-treat with a bunch of our buddies.  The kids did great, but there were a few houses that were decorated a little too well for Addy's liking.  We skipped over some of the "scarier" houses!
