Lots of fun things this past
month. We celebrated Justin’s birthday,
Shelly’s 25th birthday, Easter and the arrival of Shelly’s new
puppy. Addy had a great time looking for
her Easter basket and was so happy when she found it. We have been eating jelly beans ALL month
long and thankfully they are almost gone.
The Easter bunny visited our house & my parents’ house. Her favorite gifts seem to be the Cinderella Barbie
doll and Puppy Surprise. Scout finally
arrived in NC and Addy has a love/hate relationship with her. Most of the time, she loves her and just
wants to be close to her or holding her BUT Scout is a puppy and likes to play
which Addy doesn’t get. When Addy runs,
Scout wants to chase her and then Addy wants to be picked up so she can’t jump
on her. It’s actually pretty funny to
watch and hopefully Addy will soon realize she can’t tease the puppy!

Me: I’m driving and I can’t reach
it at the moment
Addy: Pull the car over, get out,
get the lipstick and THEN you can drive again
Me: ummm no…..
~While asking her not to grab my phone out of my hands~
Me: ADDY, DON’T DO THAT!!
Addy: Don’t talk to me that way

Me: Addy, are you ever going to
poop on the potty?
Addy: I will when I’m bigger….when
I turn 4
~Anytime we walk into my parents’ house~
Addy: Abbey is old

Me: Want to go to Grandma &
Guppy’s after school?
Addy: Will Scout be there?
~Getting ready for bed one night~
Me: Please stand still and stop
jumping around!! (while yelling)
Addy: Throws herself on my bed
and starts crying and says, “you don’t love me!”
Me: ………….
