Addy's 1st Birthday Party

The day had finally come to celebrate Addy's birthday.  After months of thinking of every detail, it came and went in the blink of an eye.  We were lucky enough to have my sister Amanda come into town as well as Justin's mom and both brothers, Adam & Gannon.  This kid is so loved and has everyone wrapped around her little finger!  I love sitting back and watching Addison interact with her family members...I can see the love in their eyes and hers.  It is such a wonderful feeling knowing how loved she is.
We had the party at my parents house because our little townhouse wouldn't have been able to fit all 22 adults & 6 kids.  I had taken the Friday off before her party to do last minute running around and setting up at my parents house.  I pretty much put all family members to work!  Saturday morning of the party Justin, Addison, Brinkley & I headed over to my parents.  I figured we'd do last minute party prep while we put Addy down for a much needed nap.  WELL, the nap never came!  She laid in bed and talked, fussed then eventually cried.  At 11:30 we finally decided to get her out of bed, dress her in her party outfit and be waiting for her guests to arrive around noon.
Thankfully, Addison was a trooper and did really well during the day.  She ate her lunch, opened her mounds of gifts, had birthday cake, took family photos and said goodbye to the last of the guests and then finally fell asleep for a nap.  Everyone was exhausted!  It was a beautiful day with the sun shining and lots of happy faces.  It still seems hard to believe a year has come and gone...our baby is growing up soo fast!
Below are some pictures from throughout the day...you can see just how spoiled Addison was!

11 Months Old!

Addison continues to amuse us!  She is big on personality and usually is just the happiest little thing.  This month has flown by and we are counting down the days til the big O-N-E birthday party.  I have my list of tasks I need to complete for Addy's birthday and have given my mom a list as well...thank god for her!  She didn't even blink at me when I gave her the run-down!  This is also after I had asked her to make Addison a Halloween costume as well...I am very needy!

Size Stats:
Height - no idea!
Weight - about 21.5 lbs, but I think our scale is "forgiving", so she may weigh more
Head - no idea!
Development:  Addy is still crawling with one foot down (right foot) & one knee down (left knee).  It sounds like a game of Twister!  She is trying to pull up on things, but hasn't been successful yet.  She has started to crawl around quite a bit and doesn't really like to be stationary.  She still likes to stand, but is very wobbly.  She has also mastered kneeling up like a little gopher, she looks adorable!  She has gotten very good at waving & clapping on cue.  Justin & I have also been teaching her to do "high-fives"...the dog can do it, why can't she!?  She has gotten pretty good at it, but she looks at us and smiles like you guys are so silly!  We are also trying to teach her to give kisses...it usually just involves one of us grabbing her face and planting one on her though.  I think she knows what we are asking for, she just isn't interested in reciprocating!  She may not be interested in kisses, but she generally gives out some pretty BIG hugs!
At this point Addy has her 2 middle bottom teeth and a fang trying to poke through, The fang keeps pushing down, but it is only just coming through!  If you look really close, you can see the matching fang is coming in on the other side as well...guess we will have a vampire baby for a little bit!  She is big into placing items into other items.  She loves to stuff a toy into the front hatch of her car and take it out.  She'll also be playing with a ball and try to put it in a cup and then take it out to do all over again.  I'm not sure what she is accomplishing, but she concentrates pretty hard when doing this.
Personality:  Oh boy, I think we are going to have trouble with her.  She has started to become a little diva.  She makes this scrunchy face (like she smells something stinky) when she isn't happy or you aren't doing what she wants and we see this face A LOT.  She also has learned how to "fake cry".  Again, if we don't jump quick enough for her she starts to fuss, but you can tell it is sooo fake!  I'm not sure where she has learned this!?  Lately she has been testing her limits more & more.  She knows she isn't allowed to have Brinkley's dog bones, but she'll crawl over, pick it up and we will say "no Addison" and then she will promptly smile at us and then put it in her mouth.  It is pretty funny, but I'm sure how long it will continue to be funny.  Whenever we say no, she thinks if she smiles at us, she can then proceed to do whatever it is she was going to do.  It's actually pretty darn funny.  Justin & I find that we have to turn around a lot so she doesn't see us laughing at her!

Diva Look #1

Diva Look #2

Her teachers at daycare say she is such a happy child, but recently they also told me that Addy likes to steal the pacifiers out of the other kids mouths.  She doesn't try to put them in her mouth, she just takes them away like a bully!
I made a comment one day about one of the little boys being Addy's best friend, one of the teachers corrected me and said, "No, everyone is Addison's best friend...she loves everyone!"  Oh boy, sounds like she is going to have her daddy's personality, making friends with anything or anyone!
Eating:  Addy pretty much has whatever she wants at this point.  We do cut up veggies, fruits, pancakes, breads, pasta, cheese and cookies...yup I said cookies.  I mean not a whole one, but I'll give her a little sample of mine OR she'll reach into my mouth and try to extract some for herself!  She still has puree at least twice a day and 4 bottles (~6oz.) scattered throughout the day.  She is a good little eater.  I have tried to feed her by fork or spoon, but she tends to just want it on her tray where she can decide which food is next.
Just the other day we let her try some peroghi's...she loved them!  She ate quite a bit and then wanted more when it was my turn to eat, so daddy & I squeezed out the potato part and fed it to her by fork which she sounded like she enjoyed even more.
Sleeping:  Addy, Addy, Addy.  We WERE back to sleeping through the night!  I might have been given a stern talking to by someone, but he did have some valid points.  I'm glad he "made" me let her cry it out a few nights.  There was only one night where she was really upset and after that she pretty much got the hang of it.  She decided just this past Sunday night that she needed to be up at 4am!?  This kid is like clockwork!  We let her cry, talk and play until 5:15am when daddy & I decided we needed to give her a bottle so she would go back to sleep therefore we'd get another hour or so before we needed to be up for work.  If (when) she wakes up this weekend at 4am, you better believe we are gonna let her work through it on her own!
Likes:  Addy still loves bath time and the time leading up to it.  I'll usually tickle  her when laying her down and getting the tub filled and she giggles up a storm.  Sometimes Brinkley will come in and lick her toes during this time and this too cracks her up.  She loves her daycare friends...she gets so excited to see them!  Her new favorite toy is this little white teddy wearing a Yankee shirt.  She holds him all the time and always is happy to see him.  We have named him "teddy", very original, we know!
Dislikes:  She gets very cranky when I have to change her diaper or change her clothes.  She has a knack of kicking her legs and landing her heel onto my right wrist almost every time I change her.  My wrist is sore daily!  She also isn't a fan of me putting bows or hair ties in her hair.  She gets ticked!  I can't handle her having ratty hair though, so I push through and persevere!

10 Months Old!

Double digits!  A day doesn’t go by where I don’t stop and say to myself, I can’t believe what an incredible little girl we have and I’m so thankful for her.  Our hearts bust at the seams and I’m not sure we could love anything more.  Addison has her father & I wrapped around her little finger!  It’s still hard for me to leave her at daycare because I really just want her to be with me all the time!  I know she has a blast there and enjoys hanging with all the other kids, but I think its ok to feel a little selfish from time to time.

Size Stats: I was only able to get her weight...
Height - @ 9 months she was 28 in (60th percentile)
Weight - 19 lbs 6 oz (44th percentile)
Head - @ 9 months she was 44.5 cm (70th percentile)

Development:  We’ve got a crawler on our hands! As of August 8th, she has started to move.  I was able to catch it on video after work and then she did it again for daddy when he came home.  It was very exciting for us!  She has a weird technique, but moving is moving.  She gets up on her hands then uses her right foot & left knee.  She kind of pulls that left knee to the next position.  It looks funny, but it gets the job done!  I’m pretty sure she has been “crawling” at daycare, but they didn’t really let on and said they like the parents to witness it first.  I thought that was nice of them, but I had come to the realization that she would most likely do it their first! She still likes to sit on her butt and maneuver her way around.
Addison is apparently rolling over in her crib at daycare, but Justin & I have still never seen her do it!?  It somehow came up at daycare and I was shocked to hear she flips onto her tummy to sleep! What the heck child!?  We constantly watch her on the video monitor (ok, some of us more than others) and she acts like she struggles and just can’t seem to turn over…guess it’s an act!
Addy is standing up more & more lately and really just wants to use my body as a jungle gym.  Sometimes she stands to give me hugs or kisses, but most of the time when she pulls up on me she is trying to reach or get to something else.  We recently bought Addy a walker (not the one where you put the baby in and let them walk around in it), the kind that will give her some stability when she tries to stand up and has wheels for when she decides to walk.  Once she gets those things mastered, it turns into a little bike that she can sit on.    She loves to clap & wave!  It is so cute to see her get excited and clap her little hands!  Almost everything is clap-worthy!  She’s big into waving and especially loves to wave at daddy.
Addy has been getting really good at playing fetch with Brinkley.  I’ll throw the ball; Brinkley will get it and bring it back to Addy.  Addy then picks it up and hands it to me for the next throw. So smart!
Personality:  Addy continues to be loud, cheerful & outgoing!
I have 3 favorite times of the day:
  1. When Addy wakes up and we go to grab her from her crib.  She is always very happy & chatty first thing in the morning.
  2. Picking her up from daycare because she is so excited to see me and I get smothered in hugs & kisses
  3. When daddy comes home from work and she is so excited to see him.  Sometimes we sit out front waiting for daddy to come home and once I see his car and tell her that’s his car she just stares waiting for him to emerge.  She lights up when she sees him and can’t contain her happiness!
She is a super sweet little girl, but she also has a little “bully” attitude in her!  I’ve been told several times at daycare that she likes to put other children in head-locks!  Although I’d like to think she is hugging them, I’m not so sure.  She tends to yell at Brinkley and I feel like she is ordering her around…obviously she doesn’t listen, but it’s funny to watch.
Eating:  She has been trying all sorts of new things.  She really wants to be eating what everyone else is eating and somehow knows that what is on her plate is different then from what’s on our plates.  We will slowly transition her into eating the same meals as us, but for now it’s still somewhat simple as to not disrupt her tummy.  Her current favorite food seems to mandarin oranges…as soon as I take out the Tupperware containing the oranges she gets really excited.  Another current favorite is her yogurt melts; she just can’t get enough of them.
Sleeping:  As soon as we went to NO middle-of-the-night wake-ups, she got a cough & cold and has tricked me into coming back into her room.  So, although we went a whole week without getting up in the middle of the night, we have regressed.  As soon as this cough is out of her system though, it’s back to tough love!  Also, I don’t think I’ve mentioned it before, but when Addy is getting her bed time bottle, she continually runs her hands through her hair.  Once I lie her down in her crib we will watch on the monitor and it looks like she is twirling her hair!  I’m not sure if she is doing it just because it feels good or maybe because she sees me doing it all the time!
Likes:  Addy continues to love being at the pool.  She also really likes cell phones and can spot them a mile away!  We tried to trick her into liking one of daddy’s old Blackberry’s, but she still wants the real deal!  She also loves her Aunt Michelle’s ipad…we may be creating a monster!
Dislikes:  She has a love/hate relationship with pureed food.  Some days she wants it, other days its like don’t even think about putting it near her!  She still gets fussy when changing her diaper or if she requires a wardrobe change.
Pictures: She wanted nothing to do with me when I was snapping away today!  Our usually smiley girl just wanted to do her own thing.  She also got pretty ticked when I put her on her back and started to cry!  Here are some of my favorites.  You can actually see her "crawling" technique in a few of these.

9 Month Checkup!

The little lady's stats:

Height - 28 in (60th percentile)
Weight - 18 lbs 8 oz (50th percentile)
Head -  44.5 cm (70th percentile)

Thankfully there were no shots at this checkup!  Addison was pretty good until Dr. Sarah wanted to look in her ears and mouth.  She cried just a little and stopped pretty quick after I picked her up.  Dr. Sarah said she looked perfect and her stats were perfect as well.  Addison can now pretty much eat whatever we want to give her with the exception of choking hazards & honey products.  Seems pretty simple! The doctor also said her top gums seem very swollen and we will probably see some more teeth very soon.  The next well checkup isn't until her 1 year birthday so hopefully she will be healthy and we won't have to visit them until then.
Here are a few pics from the appointment -

9 Months Old!

The last month of single digits!  I can’t believe in just a few short months we will be celebrating her 1st birthday!  Time is seriously flying by!  My father recently asked if I’d still be making Addison wear her “month” onesies when she turns 6.  The answer is no, I just have them to 12 months!  She continues to crack us all up.  She just brings so much joy to our lives!

Size Stats: Weight, Height & Head – She is getting so tall!  We have our 9 month well appointment on July 17th, so we will know just how big she actually is very soon.  She is wearing size 4 diapers although they are a little big.  She wears all 9 month clothes with the exception of pants/shorts which are 12 months.
Development:  Addy officially said da-da on Father’s day (June 17th)!  We were getting out of the car and Justin came around the back to meet us and clear as a bell she said da-da…we were both so excited and it was a wonderful father’s day gift!  On Sunday June 24th I noticed Addy’s first tooth!  It is on the bottom in the middle and is just breaking through!  About a week later my dad was talking about Addy’s “teeth”…I brushed it off and just thought he was confused, but sure enough a second one had sprouted right next to the first! Addy FINALLY said Ma-ma on July 10th!  She is getting the hang of it and goes back and forth between da-da & ma-ma.
This kid sooo wants to move!  She is reaching out trying to get things and one of these times she is either going to fall on her face OR get her knees under her and crawl.  She loves standing up and swaying and also hanging on to things that are at her level.  She still hasn’t rolled over!?!  I’m not sure who it will shock more when she finally does roll over…her or me.  Justin’s parents have been in town for a few days now and have already taught Addison how to say thank you!  It all came about by passing a paper towel back & forth and when she gets it handed back to her, she says a very quiet thank you.  It is so sweet and melts your heart!
Personality:  She is still the happiest of campers.  She is always smiling and chatting.  She has started to throw little hissy fits when you make her do something she doesn’t want to do, like change her diaper, but we can usually get her to laugh pretty quickly and change her attitude.  She is just so laid back and easy going.  I feel like she is oozing personality and is becoming more & more like her father everyday.  She thinks everything is funny just like her daddy and she also has this little mischievous sparkle in her eye that is definitely Justin!  She has been very into her daddy lately and screams his name quite frequently.  I think she just wants his constant attention!
Eating:  She is finally getting over the gag thing.  She has 3 meals a day with bottles spread out in between them.  I still have to puree her food until it’s pretty smooth, but she does so well with it.  I have been giving her some finger foods with at least 2 meals a day and daycare has been as well.  I love to watch her use her little pinchers while she picks up food, it is so cute and reminds me of a little crab.
Sleeping:  Addy still has been waking up once a night!?  I know at our 9 month appointment the doctor is going to tell me she should be fine sleeping through the whole night, but it is just so easy to wake up, give Addy a bottle then head back to bed.  There is no crying and hardly any interrupted sleep.  We will definitely be working on sleeping through the night after Justin’s parents head back to NY.  As Justin says, what are a few more nights!  Her daytime naps have been getting a little better.  She still likes her 30 minute naps, but every so often she throws in an hour nap.  If she were miserable I’d worry, but again she is happy 95% of the time.
Likes:  She loves giving Brinkley food while she is eating.  She will not focus on her meal half the time, unless Brinkley is sitting next to her patiently waiting for a handout.  She still loves the pool and all that comes with it…the water, the children, the float and the splashing.  She has been enjoying standing up with assistance lately.  She can’t pull herself up, but if she is sitting on your lap she tries to stand on her own by pushing up.  We recently found that she really enjoys a 6 pack of paper towels because it is just the right level and nice and soft!
Dislikes:  She doesn't like regular potatoes.  They are just a weird texture for her I guess.  She isn't a fan of me trying to look at her new acquired teeth.  She doesn't want my fingers anywhere near them!  She also has to be tricked into wearing a bow.  She hasn't liked it lately when I put one in her hair; she actually started to cry the other day.  If she is playing and I sneak it in however, she doesn't touch it!  I honestly can’t think of anything else she really doesn't like!

8 Months Old!

Life has been flying by in general!  We’ve had a lot of fun the past month and Addison always keeps us amused.

Size Stats: Weight, Height & HeadAddison is weighing in at 18lbs 13oz and is 28 inches long!  We had a sick visit to the doctors just yesterday so I know these numbers are correct.  She just has a cold and thankfully it isn’t in her chest and no ear infection.  Addison is wearing 9 month tops and 12 month bottoms.  She can fit into sleepers ranging from 9 months to 12 months as well.  She seems so long!!  She usually wears 9 month old dresses but I have thrown her into some 12 month ones.
Development:  Addison is sitting up on her own very well at this point.  I still keep a boppy pillow close by, but at daycare they haven’t been putting anything behind her.  Addison’s newest development is waving hi & bye.  It’s very sporadic, but when she does it, it is so cute!  She usually waves with her palm facing her.  Sometimes it seems like she shouts hi or bye at the appropriate times, but one never knows.  She likes being in the standing position.  She can’t stand by herself, but she loves when we stand her up.  Addison also is into dancing.  She will start to rock back & forth and will mimic us sometimes if we do it.  It definitely cracks me up!  At first I couldn’t figure out where she learned this, but then I asked her daycare teachers and apparently they turn music on and dance around the room for the kids and the kids usually join in.
Personality:  Addison loves to hear her own voice.  She chats, sings and happy screams ALL THE TIME.  If we are in the car, playing on her quilt, sitting on the bed, “taking” a nap in her crib, at the pool…she is generally talking to herself or making some sort of noise.  She loves her reflection and will screech when she sees herself.  When we are at the pool or playground she is delighted and will make all kinds of noises to get the other children to pay attention to her.  She is just not a quiet child.  Even when we take walks, she will sit in the stroller and kick her feet, wave and talk.  It’s usually just Addy, Brinkley and I, so it isn’t like she is joining in on a conversation!  Lately Addison has been testing her limits when it comes to naps & bedtime.  She puts up quite a fight for naps and seems to like to wake up in the middle of the night to hang out.  I’m trying my very best to not give in, but sometimes I just need her to sleep and will do whatever!  As soon as I go into her bedroom she smiles at me like she knows she won the fight.  Sometimes I pick her up but I mostly try and let her fight it out on her own.  Justin said he is training me more than Addy because I hate hearing her cry and will appease her much quicker than her daddy will!
Addison is also completely nosy!  She wants to see everything!  When I hold her and she is facing me she is bobbing and weaving left & right trying to see what’s behind me.
Eating:  Addy still has several bottles throughout the day and continues to eat solids for lunch & dinner.  I keep throwing in new types of food for her to try and she usually likes just about anything.  I have continued to make some food for her and she continues to gobble it down.  We recently bought some puffs for Addy to try.  Puffs are a finger food kind of like cheerio’s but dissolve quicker in your mouth.  She likes to play with them, but she has a horrible gag reflex and doesn’t like any food sitting on her tongue.  This whole gagging thing has made it difficult when trying to introduce finger foods.  She’ll suck on fruit if you hold it to her mouth, but the second a little piece breaks off and hits her tongue, gag city!  I’m not too concerned about it since she enjoys her mashed up food, but I am hoping the gag thing goes away soon.  We recently introduced teething biscuits as well.  She loves to suck on them and they don’t break apart very easily so it works out well, except I have to make sure it’s at the end of the day because she gets so messy and usually needs a bath after.  Brinkley has caught on quick.  She sits or lays right next to Addy’s highchair ready to help her with whatever she may drop.  She really is a good dog though.  I can sit Addison on the ground and give her puffs and Brinkley will keep her distance and not go over to grab anything from her.  Now, don’t get me wrong, Brinkley will stare holes into her head, but she won’t make a false move until I give the OK.
Sleeping:  The child hates sleep, I am convinced.  In this aspect she is like her father (or her Nonna or Bisa-Nonna!)  Justin is a night owl but I could go to bed at 8pm every night and wake up at 10am and be happy.  I love to sleep which makes Addy’s love of non-sleeping that much more fun!  I do find it incredibly adorable that Addy lays the same way Justin does when sleeping…on her back with her hands behind her head.  She has been taking crappy naps lately and really just wants to lay on me and snuggle.  I would love to be able to be her bed, but sometimes a girl needs some time to herself!  On the weekends I usually just let her sleep on me because her naps are so short anyways.  A few of my mommy friends have told me to enjoy it now because in a few short months she won’t want to do it anyways.
Likes:  The mirror, pool, bathtub, watching cartoons, going for walks in the stroller, people watching and anything that involves not sleeping!
Dislikes:  Napping and sleeping through the night!  She really is such a good baby and there isn’t much that upsets her.

8 Fun Addy Facts:

  1. I have to be careful when I say daddy’s name.  If I say daddy’s name she immediately looks around or at the door assuming he will be announcing himself shortly.  Coincidentally, I have the same problem with Brinkley!
  2. She has started to show a little separation anxiety.  She loves her mommy and will let someone know it if given the opportunity.  Hopefully she outgrows it quick because it will just break my heart!
  3. Addy is starting to mimic things that she hears.  Justin & Addy will have “weird sound” making chats where he’ll do a noise and she will do the noise right back.  Just the other day I was positive Addison was saying “Good Dog”, after I said it to Brinkley.  She at least was using the same inflection!  I’ve pretty much made everyone aware that I would not like Addison’s first words to be swear words, so everyone is to be on their best behavior going forward!
  4. Addison loves playing in the pool.  I have to be careful not to keep her in the baby pool too long because she becomes a wrinkly mess!  She especially loves it when there are other kids in the pool that she can scream happy sounds at.
  5. Her favorite toys seem to be electronic things, i.e. cell phones & computers
  6. I think she poses when I bring the camera out.  She literally lights up when I hold my cell phone in front of her to snap her pic…she is a complete HAM.
  7. She loves to hear me sing Baby Beluga.  If she is fussy or upset when she is in her car seat, I can start to sing this song and 9 times out of 10 she relaxes.
  8. She loves to dance…in any position!  She rocks back and forth in her highchair, sitting on the ground, laying on her back or chillin watching TV in mom & dad’s bed.  She must hear music in her head!

7 Months Old!

Another month that has flown by!  Every day Addison amazes me more & more and brings such joy to our lives.  The past month has been a little crazy.  My parents, sisters, Addison & I all flew to Texas to visit my grandma.  It was so great to see my grandma interact with her great-granddaughter!  My grandma particularly liked the video monitor we had.  She sat there and kept watch over Addy whenever she napped!  Justin, Addison & I went to NY 2 weeks after our Texas trip to visit family.  Addy is such a good baby and just went with the flow.  We visited Justin’s papa at the nursing home and you could just tell he loved it, which in turn made Justin & I so very happy.

Size Stats: Weight, Height & Head – I weighed her in at 19.8 lbs.  She is wearing all 9 month sleepers.  She can fit into onesies ranging from 6 months to 12 months depending on the brand.  She pretty much wears all 12 month sized bottoms.  I feel bad trying to squeeze her into anything smaller than that!  She seems so long and I am regretting getting the changing table we got because her head is to the top and her feet almost reach the bottom…doesn’t leave a lot of room for an excited baby to kick and try to twist and turn when we are changing her.
Development:  She still hasn’t rolled over!  I can’t wait when I can finally say she has done this!  She sits up very well now.  I usually keep her boppy behind her, but I really think she’d do fine without it.  The poor thing has been chewing or sucking on everything!  I think a tooth may be making an appearance soon.  Her new thing is to rotate around in her pack n play.  She doesn’t do it in her crib for some reason though.  I’ll lay her down for a nap the long way, but when I go to get her after her nap, she has turned so her body is going the shorter way.  Her head and toes are pushed up against the ends…I have no idea why she thinks this is fun!  Maybe she likes the way the mesh feels?  She constantly pushes up on her legs when you hold her.  She wants to stand but she is very wobbly!
Personality:  She is still a super happy easy-going baby!  She just has the sweetest personality.  A dark side has started to emerge just a little.  After her bath at night before her bottle she has been throwing little hissy fits.  At this point, I find them to be pretty cute!  The teachers at daycare keep saying Addy is the most talkative baby they have ever been around…I believe it.   She just talks & talks.  She loves to give me hugs & kisses which are very drooly at this point!  It is pretty much my favorite thing.  She still hasn’t said Ma Ma, but she really only gives out her hugs & kisses to me, so I’m not too upset about that!
Eating:  She has been doing really well with food.  She has several bottles throughout the day and food for lunch & dinner.  She has tried a number of foods including: Brown baby rice, Baby oatmeal, summer squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, peas, peaches, apples, a tomato medley and baby mac & cheese.  She wasn’t a fan of avocados, but other than that she pretty much eats it all!  At this point, I have pretty much bought all of her food pre-made, but I have a Beaba which lets you steam, blend and cool all sorts of foods.  I recently bought a sweet potato, cut it up, steamed it and then pureed it.  In a perfect world, I’d do this for all her food, but for right now I am just trying to make enough at the beginning of the week for just Addy’s dinners.
Sleeping:  At least she is consistent!  She still only takes 2 -3 naps a day ranging from 20 minutes to 45 minutes.  Addy is heading to bed around 7pm (if she makes it that far) and sleeps until about 3 am where we feed her a small bottle and then she goes back to bed until about 7am.  We will be working on dropping her middle of the night feedings in the next week.  The doctor said she shouldn’t need to wake up in the middle of the night, it is just a habit she has gotten herself into.
Likes:  She has a newfound interest in Brinkley.  She enjoys watching Brinkley run for a ball and she likes to pet her paws with just her pointer finger, kind of random!  She loves bath time still and I get soaked from all the kicking and splashing.  She really loves looking at herself in a mirror, she gets so excited!  She loves her talking book that Justin’s nana bought her.  It sings several nursery rhymes and lights up, what’s not to like!?  She loves it when anyone is silly with her and there is no shortage of that from anyone!
Dislikes:  Still doesn’t enjoy tummy time and hasn’t been a fan of me wiping her nose because of her cold.
